Monteverde Biological Cloud Forest Reserve Tour
Take one of the most diverse walks through natural history, to be found in Costa Rical! Located on the Continental Divide in the Cordillera de Tilarán, the reserve extends down to both the Caribbean and the Pacific sides of Costa Rica. This combination of climate and geographic factors creates temperature and humidity gradients, which change dramatically over relatively short distances creating what they call microclimates. Here you will find amazing native animals such as howler monkeys, sloths and birds such as the toucan, quetzal and the incredible hummingbird. As we make our way through the reserve you will be guided by one of our expert and professional guides who will point out and educate you on all the native plants and animals to be found in the reserve.
