In close collaboration with the Caribbean Sloth Sanctuary, Selvatura Park showcases the sloth, one of Costa Rica's most iconic animals, in a carefully designed exhibit that replicates their natural habitat. The sanctuary houses 12 sleepy females who move slowly and live in the trees.

In our sanctuary, time takes on a new meaning, inviting peaceful contemplation of these extraordinary mammals, emblematic of Costa Rica. Observe our sloths stress-free from a distance as they wander among the trees, freely and safely showcased in their own comfort space. Selvatura Park actively supports and promotes the conservation of our Costa Rican national symbol.
